My story

“My aim is to provide classes which will motivate and inspire you to make exercise a permanent part of your life”

My Story:

In Spring 2021 I started working with the ladies from Love Life Ladies Fitness. At the time this was a community of women-led very successfully by a friend of mine. However, due to the Covid year, memberships had dwindled, and my friend had just started a family which took up all her time and energy….. I loved working with the ladies and so, with the realisation that we could both help each other, I took over the business. In the Summer of 2021, ‘Love Life Fitness’ was created.

I wanted to continue to build a fitness platform that would appeal to everyone – to those who have exercised for years and are looking for new challenges, as well as those who are complete beginners. My aim through ‘Love Life Fitness’ is to provide classes that will motivate and inspire you to make exercise a permanent part of your life.

A little about me:

I’m a mother to 2 boys, wife and this is my second career, a Personal Trainer/ Fitness Instructor. At the age of 44, I left my full-time job as a headteacher to follow my passion. Yes, it was a big step and yes, being a headteacher nearly finished me off. Do I regret leaving a well-paid, highly stressful job? No. Do I regret not leaving it earlier? No. I learned so much as a headteacher, I worked in an incredible team and met some truly inspirational people. Watching children grow and learn was my bread and butter. I love teaching. Unfortunately, being a headteacher, for me, was not teaching and I lost touch with myself.

So that was me but now, I am very excited to be able to share my passion for fitness with you all.

What does fitness mean to me? Fitness is so much more than aesthetic goals, it’s life-changing. Fitness is about being strong from the inside out, fitness helps you challenge yourself, it takes you out of your comfort zone and makes you feel so good! Fitness builds confidence, it naturally makes us feel positive and it gives us busy ladies an opportunity to do something for ourselves...
